In their latest attempt to find something, anything, to justify their Trump-ordered baseless impeachment inquiry against President Biden, House Republicans today attacked the President for occasionally traveling with his children.
But if House Republicans want to talk about presidential family flying on Air Force One, we’re more than happy to oblige them…
President’s children often join their parents on Air Force One. Just look at President Trump’s adult sons who ran the Trump Organization and did not work in the administration during Trump’s presidency.
In June 2019, they joined their father for a dinner with the British royal family in London and then flew on Air Force One to join him at D-Day commemorations in France.
Donald Trump, Jr. flew on Air Force One with President Trump on at least ten other occasions.
- On April 16, 2017, Donald Trump, Jr. posted a video of Air Force One on Instagram after having flown on the plane for the first time. The Trump’s had just returned to Washington, DC after spending the Easter holiday in Florida.

- On February 11, 2019, Donald Trump, Jr. posted pictures of himself boarding Air Force One. President Trump was traveling to El Paso, TX for a rally where he talked about his proposed border wall and hardline immigration enforcement policies.
- On March 29, 2019, Donald Trump Jr. posted a picture of himself and President Trump “catching a ride on Air Force One” the night before. President Trump was traveling to visit Lake Okeechobee and the Herbert Hoover dike in Florida.

- On May 27, 2020, Eric Trump posted a picture of a Space X rockets as seen through the window of Air Force One. President Trump had flown down to Cape Canaveral to see the Space X Dragon Crew launch, but the launch was later postponed because of weather.
