House Oversight Committee Chair James Comer’s investigations are in total shambles. Just take it from him and his fellow Republicans who have no idea if recordings they’re crying wolf about are just a figment of someone’s imagination or not:

- Jim Jordan: “We don’t know for sure if these tapes exist.”
- Senator Ron Johnson: “Take that with a grain of salt. This could be coming from a very corrupt oligarch. Who could be making this stuff up.”
- Senator Ron Johnson: “Well, first of all, we don’t know that exists. I don’t know the FBI has that.”
- Senator Ron Johnson: “Again that’s a claim, it’s an allegation we don’t know if they really exist or not.”
- Senator Ron Johnson: “We don’t know really whether the tapes exist, we just don’t know that, whether this was just a bluff on the part of, whoever the executive was, we think it was Mykola Zlochevsky, the CEO of the… the corrupt oligarch.
- Senator Ron Johnson: “I’m not aware that we have verified that those recordings exist.”
Good thing Senator Chuck Grassley already told us the truth when he said, “We aren’t interested in whether or not the accusations against [then] Vice President Biden are accurate or not.”
If you’ve even lost noted conspiracy theorist Ron Johnson, it’s time to shut up.
