“This episode just underscores the integrity of President Biden — he kept Trump’s US attorney on to investigate a matter involving his own son. This President has repeatedly demonstrated his belief in the rule of law and the independence of the Justice Department.
“This matter has now been investigated by multiple law enforcement entities and countless media outlets for over half a decade. Justice has been served. Notably, Hunter will not be charged with any of the unfounded and outlandish issues Republicans and right-wing media have used to smear him with for years.
“Hunter Biden is a private citizen who has never worked in the White House. Like so many American families, the Bidens have dealt with addiction and recovery. Unlike the rest of us, they have to do it in public, under scrutiny, and constantly harassed by petty politicians looking to score points. It’s time for Republicans to put this shameless inquisition to bed – America is exhausted by their stunts and ready for them to govern like adults.”
